How can I be a part of the program & what are the benefits?

Joining the program is easy!

Just Apply

Simply fill out the Sponsorship Form above and you automatically become a RAGE Ambassador. What this means is that you can start promoting RAGE Custom through your Referral Link and for every successful sale, you get 10% of the order total in Reward Points.

For example, you share your link with a friend and they buy something worth $100, you’ll get 10 RAGE Reward Points. (Points are not given for  shipping, taxes & customization charges)

You can spend these 10 points to get $10 off your own order.

The best part is that there is no limit to the points you can accumulate and spend at the same time. So, say you have 250 points and your order total is $250… that means you can checkout paying zero dollars 🙂

Sponsorship

You become a RAGE Ambassador automatically but you will become a RAGE Sponsored Player after we have gone through your application and decided on the discount tier that we can offer you.

Let’s say you get a 50% Sponsorship Discount… So using the same example as above… you have 250 points, what you want is $250 BUT now because you have a 50% discount, that $250 becomes $125, so you use 125 points and you have 125 points left.

Our selection process is manual and our decision depends on a number of factors. Obviously, your credentials as a player/athlete are very important but we also have to look at how many other sponsored players we have in the same locality. We have monthly limitations as well of how many people we can give sponsorships to, especially for the Higher Discount Tiers.

There is also another very important factor and that is your performance as a RAGE Ambassador.

We have seen over the years that players who are more proactive in terms of promoting us end up being more valuable than others who might have better credentials on paper but are less proactive in terms of getting the word out.

That is why we will not be refusing applications or sending out rejection emails because:

  • Our requirements might change [we need more players in a certain region etc.]
  • Your credentials might change [you start playing at a more senior level etc.]
  • And lastly, your performance as an Ambassador might compel us to give you a full sponsorship and even more perks!

So only applicants that are successful will receive acceptance emails, while other applications will remain in contention.

Cashback/Sales Commission

This is a perk that only a handful of RAGE Ambassadors & Sponsored Players are offered. It’s performance-based and our selection is based on the value an individual is bringing to the bottom line.

The reason we don’t begin with a cashback or sales commission offer for everyone is because we want to work with players & customers who find real value in what we do and can communicate that effectively to others based on first-hand experience.

What is the difference between being an ambassador & a sponsored player?

As explained in the previous question…

RAGE Ambassadors can accumulate Reward Points based on the successful sales their referrals bring.

RAGE Sponsored Players also get a certain discount on their own purchases apart from being able to accumulate & use points.

Both can qualify for the option to receive Cashback/Sales Commission based on their performance. This is a discretionary offer that our team may choose to offer.

Can I redeem the points for cash?

You cannot redeem Reward Points for cash at the start but based on your performance as an Ambassador and as a Sponsored player, you may be offered that option.
More details about that will be communicated when/if that offer is made.

Are there any rules about the reward points & how many points can I redeem at one time?

  • You can accumulate as many points as possible, there is no limit.
  • You can also redeem any number of points on your own orders.
  • Points that you want to redeem have to be manually entered during checkout.
  • The reward points are non-transferable.
  • They cannot be redeemed for cash (until otherwise communicated on an individual basis).
  • Points expire after 2 years.
  • Points are awarded on the product price after any discounts have been applied.
  • Points are not awarded on shipping, taxes, and any customization charges.
  • We may change, remove or add points to any account at our sole discretion.
  • We may remove the ability of any member to accumulate further points or remove them from the program at our discretion.
  • We may change these rules at any time.

Do I have to make a purchase to be a part of this program?

The short answer is “no”

You don’t have to make a purchase to become a part of the RAGE Ambassador Program and making a purchase has no bearing on which Sponsorship Tier you are awarded.

Having said that, not making a purchase especially once you have been offered a sponsorship may result in the cancellation of your sponsorship offer.

Also, there are extra perks & offers that are only communicated to members who have made a purchase simply because they can write reviews, show people around them a real custom product, and share their actual experience. Someone who doesn’t own a RAGE Custom product won’t be able to help in this way.

We however do understand that there are different ways that people can bring value, so we deal with this on a case-by-case basis and reach out before taking any action.

How long will it take to find out if I am sponsored or not?

On average decisions about Sponsorships take less than a month BUT we cannot give you an exact timeline.

As previously explained, our selection process is manual and our decision depends on a number of factors. Note, that during this time you will be a RAGE Ambassador, so you accumulate points by promoting us and your proactive performance will definitely help us in making a decision.  

How do I know I will be compensated for my referrals?

The system we use tracks every person that clicks on your referral link using cookies and IP addresses.

If a visitor purchases from us within 90 days of following your link, you are automatically credited with that sale and paid 10% of the purchase value in reward points.

Any sales made are automatically tracked back to you regardless of when the sale takes place.

PLEASE NOTE: Our ambassador program is designed to reward you for sales you personally generate for our brand, not on your own orders or on sales that would have happened anyway, therefore, we do not award points on orders placed by you, orders going to your address (even if using a different name), or on orders credited to you by posting your link/code on voucher sites.

How will the commission be paid to me?

The points you get for every successful sale referred by you become available in your Account. You will also be notified by email and you can use your points right away.

As previously mentioned, the points can only be used as in-store credit and cannot be redeemed for cash.

In certain cases, we do offer a Cashback option but the details for that are communicated on an individual basis.

As an ambassador, do I get points for my own purchases?

How can I promote my referral link & what about offline sales?

First, let’s talk about offline sales. These could be your best bet!

If you participate in team sports like field hockey, chances are you have access to other people who can be direct customers.

Based on the products we do (keychains, pens, promotional mini sticks, etc.) your club or school might be interested in buying from us if they are approached and convinced in the right way!

They can buy 1000s worth of merchandise in one go meaning a good payday😉

Having said that it can be difficult to get players on your team or officials in your club/school to click on your referral link. In fact, to approach them you might need mock-ups and a proposal with a cost breakdown as well.

You know who to contact and approach. We can back you up with whatever is needed and if we are successful, we will send you the points or we can discuss actual sales commission as well depending on the opportunity.

What are the rules of the ambassador program & what is expected of me when I am sponsored?

  1. You must be 18 years of age to join the program or have the consent/oversight of your parent/guardian. We may need the contact information of a parent/guardian for certain offers.
  2. Your code is to be used ONLY on your own social platforms and within your own community. If you comment on any of RAGE Custom’s owned platforms promoting your ambassador code, (including but not limited to RAGE Custom’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts), you will be immediately removed from the program.
  3. All content featuring RAGE Custom products must meet our brand standards. Do not include any suggestive content or language, political or religious points of view, or drugs/alcohol in images featuring RAGE Custom product. We do not allow trademark bidding or direct linking. We do not allow downloadable software partners to join our program.
  4. We do not allow you to share your unique promo code on coupon sites- if we find your promo code on a site, we will notify you as this is a cause for immediate removal from the program.
  5. Remember that the purpose of the Ambassador program is to refer new customers and to help spread the word about RAGE Custom. So, it is important for your community to hear from you about why you’d recommend RAGE Custom.
  6. Be kind and respectful to other RAGE Custom Ambassadors.
  7. We do allow email marketing, but all partners must be Can-SPAM compliant and must contact us prior to running any campaigns. Any ambassador that doesn’t reach out first is considered to be in violation of our terms and conditions.

Violation of any of the aforementioned terms will result in your immediate removal from our Ambassador program.
