DMCA & DSA
At RAGE Custom, we are committed to respecting copyright, protecting intellectual property rights, and ensuring that no illegal material is hosted on our platform. This page explains how to notify us of potentially infringing or unlawful content, whether under United States law (DMCA) or European Union regulations (Digital Services Act).
What is the DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a US law outlining procedures for the removal of material that infringes upon copyright. If you believe someone has used your work (e.g., a design or other intellectual property) without authorization, you can submit a “Takedown Notice.”
Important
- Confirm whether the use might be protected by “Fair Use” before filing.
- Submitting a false or misleading Takedown Notice can result in legal consequences, including liability for court costs and attorneys’ fees.
- Seek legal counsel if you are unsure about your rights or someone else’s.
